Verification procedure
A controlled path from private evidence to public fact.
The process keeps the source private, makes the public projection deterministic, and preserves every material decision.
1. Prepare the claim
The organization selects a precise claim type, enters its private value, chooses exact, range, confirmed-only, or hidden visibility, and accepts the applicable method.
2. Submit supporting evidence
Allowed files are stored privately, renamed, MIME-checked, hashed, and placed in pending scan. A reviewer cannot treat an unscanned file as clean.
3. Verify scope and authority
Ombudex checks organization authorization, domain or source scope, evidence freshness, consistency, and whether the material supports only the stated fact.
4. Record a reasoned decision
Approval, rejection, or a request for more information records the former status, new status, reason, reviewer, date, and methodology version.
5. Generate the public projection
A deterministic service exposes only the approved value or range, evidence level, generic source, verification date, expiry, and methodology link.
6. Recheck, expire, or appeal
Periodic checks can renew or expire a fact. The organization may withdraw it or appeal a decision without erasing the original history.
