Does Ombudex certify companies?
No. Ombudex assesses specific evidence under a published methodology. It does not provide a legal certification of the company as a whole.
What is the difference between declared and verified?
Declared information comes from the company. Verified information has passed a stated control, document review, connected-source check, or independent measurement.
Can a company delete a negative review?
No. A company may respond or report a review. Hiding requires a documented policy reason and creates a moderation record.
Are private documents made public?
No. Public profiles expose only the approved projection, status, source category, and relevant dates.
How is monitoring calculated?
The public method states the checked URL, expected status, period, probe region, and treatment of failures. The MVP starts from one region and says so explicitly.
Can I hide my exact revenue?
Yes. A fact may be hidden, confirmed without a value, or shown as a range. Commercial metrics are not public in the first MVP.
How can I challenge a decision?
Submit an appeal with the decision reference and supporting context. A different review path records the outcome and reason.
How does Ombudex make money?
Future plans may fund private workspace and trust-center features. Payment never changes verification, review treatment, or organic ranking.
